On Tuesday, May 5, Wildest Restaurant & Bar hosts an evening with Master Sommelier Emmanuel Kemiji, co-founder of Estaca Bacanora — a rare, handcrafted agave spirits from the mountains of Sonora, Mexico. Outlawed from 1915 to 1992 and made in secret, Bacanora is one of Mexico's most storied and least known spirits — more flavorful than tequila, without the aggressive smoke of mezcal.
Five courses by Executive Chef Trilby Tatro, each paired with a tasting served neat and as a handcrafted cocktail — Bacanora Margarita, Paloma, Mule, Old Fashioned, and Espresso Martini. Five distinct expressions, from the crystal-clear Blanco to the earth-buried El Trago.
